Worst insurance ever

I have building cover for my house with First For Woman for the last three year or so and every time I put in a claim they say it is wear and tear and they take more than a month to respond. I put in a claim on 09/12/2018 for my roof that was leaking badly after we had a massive storm the previous day. No one contacted me in Dec, I send 4 emails and did an enquiry on their website every day for more than a week. I phoned on Sunday to find out what happened with my claim and they said it was finalized as this wear and tear but I never used to have a problem with the roof until the storm. So every time I claim they say it is wear and tear which is not what the assessor said when he was there. What is the use of having an insurance if they are not going to pay anything out. Every time i claim there is an issue, the previous time they send a drunk assessor, every time I have to wait for feedback and fight for the pay out. On Sunday they promised me a manager will phone me on Monday which never happened I am still waiting. So this i how they work, I log a claim, they do not contact me after assessor was there, when i ask for feedback they come with this story of wear and tear. If something never leaked and then a storm hits you and then it leaks it is obviously because of the the storm. Is this the way to get out of settling people and just take their money, what is the use then of having the insurance . This is just dishonest taking people's money and not paying out when people really need it. I want this sorted and I want a cash pay out because as a result of them not doing anything every time it rains it just causes more damage and who is going to pay for that. I can submit a quote but i demand a resolution as wear and tear is not the answer for everything
