17 Oct 2019, 12:43Good Day FFW TEAM
i just received a phone call from the panel beaters who are fixing the car. They advised that the vehicle is ready for collection. The vehicle cannot be collected as R 5550 access has not been paid yet. I spoke to a consultant requesting that FFW keep the vehicle until the access amount is sorted. I was informed by the person they cannot. I then spoke to Mary-Anne Banks who advised that i need to collect the vehicle after explaining to the previous consultant the current situation. She then continues to ask did I not know I am liable for the access and that the panel beaters will be charging and that I am liable for that amount as well. I asked her if she put herself in my shoes does she have R 5550 currently her comment was no but if she knew she would have to pay access she would.
I get paid on the 25th each month, my accident happened on the 29th mind you this was not my fault. Thus far i have had to pay R 1420 for rental, R 450 for Fuel. I have recently changed my work-site and this came at the worst time. Insurance designed for women Yho!!!!!! wow nhe.
I didn't sign any agreement with Auto Magic to fix my car, Yes I have an agreement with FFW and I fully understand I am liable for the accesses which i will pay on the 25th when i get my salary. I also expect the 48 hours turn around time I was advise to kick in and I hope you have processed the claim on Budget side (***/5).
The level of inconvenience i have experienced in the past 17 days is beyond measure and as soon as i am done with the payments I would like to start the process to cancel this insurance and look for something better.
