Women left stranded by 1st For Women
I have had a car insurance for 10 years and therefore I have been with 2 other insurance companies before switching to FFW. The WORST decision I have ever made for a full 2 years and 9 months they have been debiting the premium before the agreement date apparently that’s how their system is designed. But my last straw is them claiming to prioritise women then fail us over and over and over again, as a single parent I added courtesy car onto my insurance contract because I cannot afford to be without a car in the event of a car accident. Had a car accident on the 27th of August when I submitted my claim I was told that I must wait until the claim is finalised and for the panel beaters to start working on the car before I can go get the courtesy car, I refused because I have a child who needs to go to school everyday my daughter can’t miss school because of FFW providing new information at claim stage, the claim was finalised on the 5th of September, the car was stripped down on the 22nd of September and the repairs will commence on the 29th of September. A whole month later and the car is not fixed, I am being instructed to return the courtesy car and they are advising that there are no delays on the panel beaters side so please explain to me the time lapse.
I have been calling first for women since the 27th of September their consultants promise to call you back and they NEVER do, the onus is on you as the customer to call them over and over with no desirable outcome, First For Women cause their own customer friction with their appalling customer service. It’s evident as First for women has clearly demonstrated that lower premiums do not equate to quality services and peace of mind.
