what a *******

I had an accident on the New Years day, it took 29 days to get my car to a panel beater. I had to follow up every 2nd day at my own expense only to realise that administration sucks. I paid insurance for the month of February when I didn't even have the car in my possession, my car hire was not extended accordingly and had to forfeit my deposit. When reviewing my policy I also noticed that I was paying for a tracking device that has never been installed. Excess of R5 500 is yet to be recovered. My thoughts are that will probably take a year or 2 perhaps if I'm lucky. When I got my car back, the parts were not up to standard, my windows were tampered with. we insure our cars with original parts and it comes back with bad quality and yet the panel beaters deny they have been touched. The panel beaters are only allowed to replace the parts the insurance approves which is not how this is supposed to work. I wrote to First for woman on 13th February 2018, to the dispute resolution department, I have not had any feedback as yet. if this it the type of service I am guaranteed then its quite pointless. my car has now lost value and all that I can say is.... it is what it is...

Reviewer Update
I do not wish to discuss any matters, there is nothing that can be done now. I wish you could have had this courtesy when I was trying to get updates on my car or to my email indicating exactly what the delays were. To date no formal response to my email, why do you have support services like "dispute resolution "or why do matters get escalated and nobody gets back to you with valid answers. not to mention that the 3rd party has not been sent the information as promised to them for the recovery of my excess (R5 300). I communicate more with the 3rd party than you have, so why do I have you and my insurance. Now that I have gone public I have you calling me.... sorry that's just not ethical. I am really disappointed in the way this has been handled.
