Water leak damage

I’ve had an absolutely horrible experience with this insurance company. My geyser burst, causing significant water damage to the ceiling. In order to access the geyser, the plumber had no choice but to remove the old ceiling — which led to further damage.

To my shock and frustration, the insurance only agreed to cover the repair to the ceiling area that was removed for access, and not the rest of the damages caused by the actual water leak. That makes absolutely no sense — the damage was clearly a result of the same incident.

What’s worse, this entire process has dragged on for more than two weeks, and my tenants are still living in a house without a ceiling. It’s unacceptable, unprofessional, and downright negligent.

I expected support during a time of crisis — not red tape, delays, and minimal accountability.
