Waste of time

I recently received a quotation from 1st for women for car and household insurance, i was happy with the price i got on the quote , and thereafter cancelled my insurance with my current provider and called 1st for women to activate this quote , after speaking to several consultants for several days to activate the quote , all of them said they will get back to me and none of them got back to me , after calling in and speaking to agent number 7 i get told "the system messed up the price on the quote" the consultant told me they would get back to me after speaking to their manager and till date no response ... and now i have no insurance due to their negligence.... wasted 2 weeks of my time on the phone with them... so disappointing
