Victimization and dishonesty regarding re-opening of my claim

On the 17th of December 2021 I was hit by a truck and I lodge a claim with my insurance on the same date which I was advised to do it via the app which I did. I was then advised that I will have to pay an Access of R6200 which I did not have at the time. I therefore advise First for women that I would rather try an claim with Santam as a 3rd party. I was issued with the letter stating my request dated: 20 December 2021.

I thereafter started with the claim process with Satam which I was told it will take 2 months for me to get a response. I was not satisfied with the duration it will take for my claim to be finalized.

On the I contacted First for women and advise that I would like to reopen my claim, I was assisted by Nobuhle Mvelase who stated that the processer is on lunch however she will put it on the system for the processer to contact me to finalize.

I was then advise that Hayley Oppel will assist me. She only contacted me once stating that I need to send her proof that Satam has not paid me for the 3rd part claim which I did. She thereafter never contacted me. I contacted First for women and the consultant advise that on the notes on their system it reflects that I need to send a cancellation of claim from Satam which I did as advise.

Today I received a letter stated that my claim is rejected as I did not advise first for women that my car was involved in the car accident and only advised them after 31 days which is untrue and dishonesty.

I advised FIRST FOR WOMEN of the accident on the 17 of December 2021 and requested for the claim to be re-opened on the 14 of January 2022 (Excluding Non-working Days – Sundays) that is 25 days. In fact I made FIRST FOR WOMEN aware of the damage on the 17th of December 2021 , if you count you will note that it is even less than 31 days. How can a company that is trusted be dishonest in this way? I need FIRST FOR WOMEN to tell me where they are getting their dates as I have evidence of what I am talking about. Phone call dates and e-mails.

I chose FIRST FOR WOMEN due to the compliments I saw on Hello Peter, also based on that they stand for WOMEN. However the every company is being unfair on me as a women the irony of that is disheartening. First For Women I need answers. Hayley did not advise me that claim can not proceed due to 31 days I was advise to cancel with SATAM , what now? ***
