VERY ****ED OFF

64 year old woman, my mother, left on a highway for over 3 hours due to the lack of communication between staff at call centre. My mother logged her call at 16h20, reporting a flat tyre. Petrified & alone, stuck on the GERMISTON highway, in peak hour traffic, my mom locked herself in the car with the fan & radio on. Left with minimal battery life on her cell, she persisted with calling to get updates on how much longer she would need to wait. After over 3 hours, a man stopped to help her, changed her tyre and push started her car. Road side assistance arrived after 3 hours from the time of the 1st log, only to find that the issue was taken care of. My mom was in a state, not to mention the fact that I now realise that this is yet another insurance company that just wanted another deal. I will keep everyone posted on the true outcome of events once I have spoken management. There are no excuses for this type of service, all the miscommunication from call centre staff, all the **** that was fed to us as to where & when road side assistance would get to my mom! There will be compensation for at least a tyre & battery! I will not give up on my mom's cause, SHE DESERVES BETTER!!!
