Value Added Products on cancelled policy

Looking at my bank statement I see that I am paying R116.00 to FFW VAP I cancelled my insurance in 2014, I spoken to a gentleman at FFW and he confirmed that I cancelled my policy in 2014, he then put me through to a gentleman in the Value Added Products section who told me that he can only cancel and give me a refund if I can prove that my vehicle was sold. Seriously, how is a company able to just reinstate a policy without my knowledge and want proof that I no longer have a vehicle. This is disgusting. My next step is to 702 and the insurance ombudsman if this is not resolved within 24 hours.
