Unpleasant and most frustrating service

I would like to raise a complaint regarding the extremely disappointing handling of a third-party claim involving First for Women Insurance.

On 23 March 2026, a client insured by First for Women bumped into my vehicle in a parking lot at Woodmead. Both parties immediately went to the police station, where we were informed that because the incident occurred in a parking lot, an official accident report could not be issued and only an affidavit could be completed.

The insured driver admitted fault and completed the affidavit at the police station. The affidavit, along with all requested supporting documents, were sent to the First for Women claims administrator on the very same day.

Since then, I have continuously cooperated with every request made by the administrator, including:

* Photos of the damage * Insurance information * Confirmation that I would not be claiming through my own insurance

Throughout this process, communication has dragged on unnecessarily. I was informed that the SLA for the claim process is 30 days, yet more than 30 days have now passed with no resolution.

What is most frustrating is that on 7 May 2026, over a month later, the administrator contacted me requesting an accident report, despite already being informed at the beginning of the process that no accident report exists due to the nature of the incident, and that only an affidavit was issued and already submitted.

This has caused immense frustration, mistrust, and disappointment in the service received from First for Women. I continue to drive around in a damaged vehicle while it is highly likely that the insured client’s vehicle has already been repaired.

The lack of accountability, delays, and poor attention to information already provided is unacceptable. This experience has been disheartening and discouraging, and we sincerely hope First for Women addresses this matter urgently and treats third-party claimants with the same level of care and urgency as their own insured clients.
