Unimpressive service

I logged a home contents claim late August 2016. I got a "quick" response as well as them stating that my claim has been settled (this was on the 2nd September 2016) and it will be settled jointly with a 3rd party. I was quite impressed at this point from the "good service".

A few days later, 9 September 2016, I submit the requested documents as well as enquire of the details of where I should be paying the excess. Never got a response til date, 19 September 2016.

Today, 19 September 2016, I take it upon myself to maybe rather contact the 3rd party, perhaps its my mistake and that's what I was supposed to do initially. I call and my claim could not be picked up by the 3rd party from their system, meaning the claim was never received. I call First for Woman to follow up on my claim and request that I get called back and redirected to the appropriate claims follow-up department, as on my initial call, I ran out of airtime due to the long call wait. The lady agreed to immediately call back. The clock is still ticking and no call return either.

What does this mean? Is First for Women creating an impression that they have a "quick" turnaround time for processing and settling claims, when in essence the service is poor?
