They sell LIES - LAST FOR WOMEN ! BEWARE

The reason I am going to cancel my policy are due to the following timeline of events:

28 June 2019 whilst I was at work and noticed I had a puncture:

12:52 – I called First For Women to request assistance for a flat tyre. I asked the lady if I could drive home with a Biscuit Tyre as that was my spare. She didn’t know what that was. I asked to be put through to someone who understands tyres – she couldn’t do that.

13:30 – I received an SMS advising that someone has been dispatched.

It had now been almost 45 minutes since my call. My brother was already with me changing my tyre. He was concerned about me driving with a Biscuit Tyre so he said he will come over and have my original tyre fixed/plugged.

13:48 – I called First For Women AGAIN to cancel my claim, as it was now almost an hour and no one bothered to contact me. The lady apologised and advised it will be cancelled.

13:50 – I receive a call from a man advising he is here to fix my tyre. I told him this has been cancelled.

He shows up ONE HOUR AFTER MY CALL TO YOU !!!

14:00 – my vehicle was sorted out by my brother. In all this time, my brother removed my tyre, installed the Biscuit Tyre, went to the garage, fixed the puncture, returned to my office, put the wheel back in and left.

14:30 – I receive ANOTHER call from another man advising that he is there to fix my tyre. I again told him that this has been cancelled.

14:42 – received an SMS from First For Women advising that “Service Has Been Complete” – YES! BUT NOT BY YOU THIEVING COMPANY.

On Saturday I receive an SMS asking to rate your service. WHAT SERVICE??? So that was considered a CALL OUT?? Even though I cancelled it due to NO RESPONSE??

In all that time NO ONE CALLED - NOTHING !

What if I had been stuck on a road somewhere, here in Durban??? On our dangerous roads ???

My sister had the same issue with FFW in March. We waited an hour on the side of Umgeni Road after her car wouldn’t start. A flat bed truck was sent to us eventually with cracked side mirrors, a cracked windscreen and a tool (plier type tool) attached to the gear box- instead of an actual gear! The driver advised that the person using the truck before him, had broken the gear.

If you are a women who values your safety – DO NOT BOOK FIRST FOR WOMEN. THEY WILL ONLY RESPOND TO YOUR EMERGENCY IN 2 HOURS BY WHICH TIME YOU MIGHT BE HIJACKED, ****** OR ****ED.
