THE WORST PANEL BEATER CHOSEN BY FIRST FOR WOMEN
THE WORST PANEL BEATER CHOSEN BY FFW Keep in mind that this accident was caused by an inconsiderate arrogant individual, my vehicle was knocked while it was stationary. The excess that I have to pay to the panel beater is ridiculous considering the two weeks they have inconvenienced me. (OBIT COACHWORKS - worst panel beater ever). I pay my car installment and insurance every month on time. But for the last 2 weeks I have been without a car. This means that I must uber to and from work every day – which is costing me a fortune –on average R250 per day via UBER, and that's only to work and fetch my child! Orbit promised to put me on a waiting list for a hired vehicle, and guess what... I'm still waiting!!!!
where it would cost me R200 for the week to drive myself to work, I am now paying R70 (on average) to work and R70 from work... This is costing me so much am 8 months pregnant. Also, bear in mind that I only booked my car into ORBIT because they advised that they had ALL the parts – in my mind if they had all the parts the car should have long time been fixed.
My car was booked in on the 7th Feb 2018 after recieveing confirmation that all the parts are in the workshop. Today, 20 February 2018 i decided to borrow my colleagues car, and go check the progress of my vehicle. To my surprise, my car has been standing untouched for TWO weeks!!!! and they have just started on the repairs!
After 9 days of them having my car, they miraculously are saying they need an extra part – which needs to first be authorized by FFW and then only will ORBIT order the part. If they are such a reputable company then why did they not order ALL THE PARTS when they supposedly told me they have all the parts?
ive been stressed out for two weeks, my child has been stressed out, and I missed my doctors appointment, only to find out my car has been chilling at their workshop untouched.
This is so pathetic! I am still without a vehicle, Obit said it would take 5 to 8 days to fix. I am furious as I am a single pregnant woman in my 8th month, and I seriously cannot afford extra expenses by taking an uber every day.
They didn’t even offer me a courtesy car. still waiting for a call regarding a hired car. FFW is supposed to put women first, however FFW IS NOT PUTTING WOMEN FIRST AS PER THEIR NAME SUGGESTS ‘’ FIRST FOR WOMEN’’.
I am utterly disappointed with this service. I expected to have my car back already. I have read bad remarks on ORBIT panel beater, and now I am forced to trust them with my car because FFW made them the panel beater to fix my car. I called the FFW complaints resolution yesterday and the consultant told me he cannot help me because ORBIT is already closed.
He didn’t bother to hear my complaint, he said I should phone in the morning – this is an extra cost because now I’m forced to call FFW again out of the airtime that I have bought to get this matter resolved.
I am seriously disappointed, I might as well cancel my insurance with FFW if this is the kind of service I receive. I am still without a car. Yet this whole ordeal is CURRENTLY costing me over R8000 - not to mention the extra days they will still have my car. Which I do not have the budget for. I barely can afford the excess, now I am stuck without a car as well. Why did you choose ORBIT PANEL BEATER when they are simply UNRELIABLE – and the CLO cannot even give me a proper answer as to why the car is not fixed yet. This is the worst PANEL BEATER FFW has chosen, and now I am still stuck without a car, with extra expenses I cannot afford. I am very unhappy with this unreliable and inconsiderate service.
This has by far been the worst experience ever.
