Take your money but they don't insure you
I have been insured with First For women for just on 2 years. During this time I have made 5 claims. Each of these claims have been rejected initially although one was subsequently paid after we challenged the outcome.
Currently I have made 2 claims with you - one under your public liability insurance and one on my household possessions.
The public liability insurance you say I am not insured because I was not holding the ladder that my handyman fell off thereby hurting himself. As a result I am not covered for the cost of the ambulance because it is my handymans fault. Should we have given him the cell phone while he was lying on the ground with a fractured ankle and damaged back to phone the municipal ambulance?
The second claim you have rejected is for a pair of sunglasses that were lost. Although you initially accepted the claim, when we sent through the claim form and you saw we were using prescription lenses, you claimed because they were prescription glasses they were not covered. Really? Surely any rational company would cover the cost of the frames and leave the lenses to me to pay?
You are very efficient at taking my money but you are certainly not an insurance company!
