STILL Paying for a policy I cancelled in 2013

I had a vehicle policy taken out with FFW around 2011/ 2012 and later cancelled the policy again because i sold my car in October 2013. Today , 01JULY 2019 when checking bank statements I called to query a debit order i had no idea i was paying and what for. Turns out, after cancelling my entire policy, FFW has still been taking my money for dents and scratches 6 years later, every month for a vehicle i don't own. When calling them, I was told that I was supposed to have phoned a complete different department after cancelling the first policy and cancel it there because its a different policy FOR THE SAME VEHICLE. In my opinion that is completely UNACCEPTABLE..are you not ONE company? When a client calls to cancel a policy and the reason being SELLING THE VEHICLE, it is the operator on the phones duty to cancel the entire policy as i had requested. I was unaware of the money still being taken which is theft in my eyes. No contact has been made with the dealership i worked at via phone, as i have confirmed this afternoon, and i was told they delivered post to my residential address, which in my town does not happen. Post is taken to the post office... If i was "unable" to contact for the last 6 years why still comfy enough to take money ?? This is unacceptable as i too deal with clients daily and will not accept the excuse that i should've called a separate department to cancel dents and scratches policy, when i took out a policy it was all as one policy from one insurance. If it was from a complete different insurance company 100%, I would've called all of them, but you are one company regardless of the different departments. FFW has taken over R9000 from me for a policy i have cancelled 6 years ago, to date. This matter will be escalated to the relevant ombudsman if my money is not refunded as requested and dealt with telephonically. This is unacceptable from a reputable big company like FIRST FOR WOMAN, IT IS THEFT.

The voicemails you reached were to a number I no longer use since 2014. The email address is also one I am no longer using as the Toyota dealership changed and so also all email addresses. All of this was mentioned to a supervisor called Dwayne Mayor on Monday afternoon, my NEW number was also given to him so I don’t know where professionalism falls into place if that is how a supervisor takes down contact details and contacts me back On those updated contact details. I have received only 2 calls and one missed call from a lady named Vuwyo who updated me on the matter and whom I informed of my further steps with the ombudsman as I am not satisfied with the attitude or outcome of this matter. The email address I am using as given to Mr Mayor and Subiso on Monday afternoon is ***
Please resend all emails to the above address.

To date I have received no email as requested above and no refund has been either. Please advise as to when this will be done and why ANOTHER debit order was taken on the first of July again ?

I received a call this afternoon and the refund was made tonight.
Please confirm that my “policy” is officially canceled and closed with first for woman to avoid the same matter next month again.

Thank you FFW for rectifying the matter and to the lady who updated me this afternoon.
