Shockingly Bad Claims Service & Insurance Cover

To say I am horrified by how this company handles simple claims and treats long-standing customers is an understatement. I've had cover for my car for almost 8 years and never submitted a claim yet my premiums have been increased significantly each year. Recently my vehicle was damaged in an accident that involved no other vehicles. It took over 2 weeks to just get a claim OUTCOME without any repairs being involved. The vehicle was written off according to their assessment. They have now offered a settlement value that is almost HALF of what my vehicle is actually worth in the market. They are also declining to replace the vehicle as an alternative to settlement. There are no email addresses available to contact the claims department and follow-up on claim (it's all telephonic which is ridiculous when people have jobs to do). I have had to chase them almost daily for any feedback and have just been met with excuses and delays. My vehicle was taken to the assessment centre after the incident which I consented to, however, after following up at the assessment centre after a week I've been informed that my vehicle has been moved TWICE without my consent and is currently in a DIFFERENT CITY. I am still in full ownership of the vehicle and was not consulted or informed of any of these movements. I've pressed repeatedly for confirmation of the exact whereabouts of my vehicle and have received no feedback in this regard. To top it off I have now discovered that I was over-paying on premiums by OVER 25% based on a quotation received from their main competitor (for a higher level of cover AND lower excess). Ladies do yourselves a favour and stay FAR away from this company!
