Settlement amount less than 50% of the cost price
I recently lodged an insurance claim in respect of the accidentally damaged TV under my HOME contents. The TV was bought R9,000, and as part of my HOME contents it covers the TV for such incidents. However, the insurance could only settle for R4300 before R450 excess, of which I will have to go to New World to get a TV of such amount i.e. R3850. <br> <br> A month ago, I recently received a letter outlining my new premium, which clearly states that \To help protect the risk of underinsurance
