The earth leakage switch on DB board was tripping every half hour. EA Trading electrician assigned on 31/7 checked and maintained that the earth leakage switch needed replacing. This was replaced by him on 1/8 @ a cost of R1350 cash (still no invoice/rcpt has been given). The problem continued and by my own deductions it was our fridge that was causing the continuous tripping. We evidently did NOT need to replace the earth leakage switch! The next problem was our pool motor was tripping the mains & I once again called the above & he said we needed to replace the transformer - which he couldn't do? We then discovered via another electrician that he had wired the pool incorrectly when he replaced the earth leakage switch. Apparently this switch EA Trading replaced @ cost of R1350 only costs R300 & what's more this switch is not SABS approved. I have tried on many occasions to speak to the correct person only to be told that someone will get back to me & when someone does I have to explain this entire story & still no feedback. The qualifications of the electrician you provide are questionable.
