Refusal to completely fix mechanical issues arising from accident

Good day,

I have recently informed FFW about my vehicle instability, which is of high risk to the safety of my children and I as we travel daily in my vehicle.

I first made contact with a consultant who did not do so as they said they would and finally after a couple of weeks of waiting I was finally contacted by an assessor Dumizani regarding my vehicle repairs that is required.

So a couple of things to note prior this request and dispute:

*I have not had any issues with my vehicle prior the accident and prior the repairs that were carried out by Renew it Randburg (Claim March 2020 - Completion of repairs July 2020 with outstanding part fitment)

* There was no mechanical work assessed for the initial repair of the vehicle - seems to have been overlooked however it was suppose to be in the assessors report on initial claim March 2020.

* My husband now had to take the time and effort to send my vehicle in for a test to check what is wrong with it... Costing us time and money whereas if the repair was completed correctly first time around with correct assessment.... then I would not now be in this unsafe vehicle situation costing us money.

So the diagnostics carried at a Super Quick Greenstone came back with the following issues that need to be sorted out on my vehicle: *Replacement of Rack Ends *Replacement of Tie Rods *Replacement of rear shocks

The current assessor Dumizani says that Renew it Randburg will only sort out the front right side of my vehicle which then is 1 Rack End and 1 Tie Rod however it is standard that should you replace one of these parts then both left and right side should be replaced... However I am told that the insurance will only cover the right side...

In regard to the replacement of the shock, my vehicle now slides sideways due to the front repairs and this could be the reason I now have damaged shocks whereby it is now leaking fluid.

I am currently paying a premium monthly to First for Women and now I am told that I will have to sort out the rest of the repairs at my own cost however if the initial assessment was carried out properly to include the mechanical repairs required after accident then I don't think that I would now be in this predicament.

Saftey is a major concern now for my family and I and me having to pay at my own cost for issues arising from the incompleteness of proper repair at time of claim is an issue.

I request that my vehicle be assessed immediately and repair cost to be covered by my insurance cover as this is all due to the initial claim in March 2020.

Still no feedback received. I would advise people not to choose FFW for your insurance
