Refunds
On the 29th of Sept I cancelled my insurance with First For Women, they then told me the debit order will still go off my account as they can't stop the debit order. If I supply them with a bank statement indicating that the debit order will go off then they will refund me sooner. I then supp**** them with an internet bank statement, they still refuse to refund me immediately I have to wait until the 12/10. They can take money from you the same day they conduct a sale and then you are covered but when you they have to return the money you have to wait 12 days - and then from there it will be in your account 3-5 days (so in total 17 days) for a refund.
So it takes them 12 days to see that money is in their account, usually 2-3 days if different banks to reflect payment...amazing bad service First For Women receives from their bank - I would complain if I were them.... Then I'm told no because my bank account is in a negative balance (I'm in my overdraft) they can't accept my bank statement as proof the money went off...wow now we get personal. I still have money left in my overdraft more than enough for payment (although the payment went off on the 1/10.
