Really bad at handling admin
I joined 1st for Women on 22 March. Between then and now there have been countless errors on my policy. The first was the excess on the policy was changed from R2400 TO R5400 with no explanation as to why this happened. I then negotiated a lower premium but then in the process they somehow changed the debit order date. They then debited on this (incorrect) day but there were no funds in my account. Then I got a notification that I am not covered until I pay. I requested a call back and rectified this. Everything seemed well. Three days later I get a notification stating "Dear client we have not yet received confirmation that a tracking unit was installed in your vehicle. Your premium will therefore be amended". This is after I had told them that I do have a tracking unit. I told them this in the very first call with them. On the very same morning I get a notification that they tried to debit my account again, "Your additional premium was not received. Your bank has returned your debit order with the following reason: Not provided for. Since this payment was not received, you do not have this additional cover at the moment." How many times do I have to tell them to debit my account on the 15th???
I have not even been with this company for a month and already they are showing that they are inadequate because of the way they handle their admin. In a moment of need I could very well find myself not able to get the help I need because of some administrative mess up. I think I have given 1st for Women enough chances, but I will be chaning my insurer. I cannot deal with bad admin.
