Premium increase with no warning

My insurance premiums went up by 40% in January 2022 but I was not sent notification of the increase or a policy review. I contacted First For Women end of last month when I realized the amount that was going off but the representative was unable to help me or adjust my premium. He acknowledged that the email with my policy review and premium for 2022 was not sent and said he would escalate my concern and request to have my premium lowered at the very least. I think a 40% increase is unjust considering I have been with First For Women for 8 years with only two VERY minor claims on household insurance during this time. I have never claimed for my vehicle and it is depreciating in value. I will be looking elsewhere for my insurance unless it can be resolved soon, but suggest that other policy holders check their debit orders.
