Premium increase/no customer service/no reply
I joined FFW in April 2012.I have two vehicles and house hold insurance with FFW. On the 28 of February another driver reversed into my car and I logged a claim on the 2nd of March 2015.On the 4th of march I had my car assessed by FFW assessor and the quote was forwarded to FFW. The day after the assessment FFW phoned me regarding the claim and said to me that I have been paying incorrect instalments on my two vehicles for the last 3 years. FFW asked me to forward my previous insurance details to them so that they can inspect if I gave FFW wrong details when I app**** for insurance. I forward them the necessary details and then the consultant said that I have a 2 month breach in insurance and I am liable for the increase on my two vehicles. The consultant told me that my current claim cant be processed until I accept the premium increase of +R450 rand on my existing instalment which is R1750 and keeping in mind that my annual increase is also due end of may. I also have a problem with paying the excess amount of R2550 which I don't have now ,cant FFW pay out the quotation to me so I can get my car fixed at another panel beater on a less expensive quotation.
