PREJUDICED AT THE EXPENSE OF 1ST FOR WOMEN'S MALADMINISTRATION

On 6 May 2022, I called 1st for Women to inform them of my banking details which have been updated. I furthermore informed the consultant that I am covered for scratch and dent and rim and tyre cover. The consultant confirmed that it is noted and that it was will all be updated. At the start of July, I was bombarded with phone call from 1st for Women and was informed that my deductions were not going off which was weird for me as I had informed them. The client then resolved my banking details issue and the fund were deducted on my pay day being the 15th of July. The next day, (16 July 2022) I lodged a claim for my tyres. I had visited an accredited company, Nolan's tyres where I spent R2200 to purchase 2 brand new tyres. Whilst at Nolan's Tyres I called 1st for Women to inform them of the claim I am about to lodge and Simphiwe, the consultant at the time took my details and informed me of the procedure that needs to be followed. All the requisite documents were timeously submitted. It was only on 19 July 2022 that I received a very disturbing feeding back from the dedicated official responsible for the processing of my claim. She informed me that of the 30 day waiting period for a claim as this was a new policy! I explained to here what had happened back in May with regards to the banking details update and that I cannot be prejudiced as a result of their maladministration. I furthermore informed her that when the consultant called me in July, that he did not inform me of that my policy was actually cancelled and that I needed to wait 30 days before lodging a claim. The dedicated official then informed that they need to listen to the phone recording of 6 May and that I will receive feedback before end of business (19 July 2022). I followed up this morning and whilst I was informed that the claim was still in the processing stage, it can take up to 4 days to receive the said phone recording. This is completely unacceptable as a client I have not faulted in anyway! I timeously notified 1st for Women of my banking details update. I was NOT informed of my policy being cancelled. I was NOT informed of the 30 day waiting period. AND then lodging the claim for processing, the consultant at the time didn't inform me either of the 30 day waiting period. The tyres have been replaced with brand new tyres. It has been 4 days now since lodging the claim and I am no nearly closer to getting my money. Instead, I am being told I can wait up to an additional 4 more days until they listen to phone recordings. I REFUSE TO BE PREJUDICED AT THE EXPENSE OF 1ST FOR WOMEN'S MALADMINISTRATION

Reviewer Update
It has been exactly 24 hours since posting my complaint about 1st for Women. I received a generic response stating that it is escalated and that I will be contacted. However, to date, not a single consultant has contacted me. How is this escalation?!
