Poor Service from First For Women

In 2018 I paid up my vehicle and I took vehicle insurance with First For Women and in 2019 I took vehicle warranty insurance still with First For Women. I moved to Australia in 2020 for study purposes and one of the thingsI do to cover expenses back home is to transfer money from my Australian bank Account into my South African FNB account sometimes the transfer reflects on the same day other times it takes time to reflect I don’t know the cause. In January my instalment was due on the 16th however because I had transferred money into my FNB account on the 14th which was a Thursday the money only reflected in my account on Monday the 18January. When the money reflected I had already received a letter from First For Women informing me that the was no provision for the debit order and as soon as the money reflected I called to inform them to debit the instalment from my CAPITEC account and the lady I spoke to said the debit order will go through on the 21 January and indeed it go off. Also to avoid another case like this I changed the date of my debit order from the 16 to the 18 of every month. Now I’m having a problem with my car on the 25 January the engine warning light was on and a family friend booked it in at NISSAN. The car was diagnosed on the 27 January and he was told that the error/warning was fixed however if the light goes on again it means the exhaust sensor needs to be replaced. On Tuesday 2 February the warning light was on again and since I’m in Australia and international calls are expensive I tried to make a claim on line but I realised the the online profile only allows claims for the vehicle insurance and not mechanical warranty. I then send an email to *** as per on of the communication methods mentioned on the correspondence letter explaining my issue and requesting them to assist as to whether is the problem covered by the warranty. On the 4 February we agreed with the family friend (ntate Thabo Motsoahae) that he will call the insurance and he he gave me feed back he told me that he was informed that my policy has been canceled I then realised that I had no choice but to call the insurance. On 5 February I called the insurance I was taken from pillar to post with my calls being transferred and others agents hanging up on me. Honestly I got angry however the last call I was able to go through and the person who assisted me checked the policy and told me that it was still active from his side but now he couldn’t assist me with a claim so he had to transfer me to the claims department. I was on hold for more than 15minutes you must understand just how frustrated I was after being transferred several times and having to call again because some agents hung up the next thing that came to mind was my bill for that international call of more than an hour trying not o get assistance to no avail. I had no choice but to hang up after holding for more than 15min. So now I need someone from First For Women to contact me so that I can get the help I need. I really cannot be taken from one call to another to another to another. I have a problem with my car and I need assistance. I understand that the insurance couldn’t finalise other things with ntate Thabo as a third party but because I am not in South Africa he is the only person that can be contacted for the issue of the car or I can only be contacted through email
