Poor service and unauthorized early deduction

Subject: Complaint – Unauthorised Early Debit Order Deductions by First for Women Insurance

Dear HelloPeter,

I am extremely frustrated with the repeated incompetence of First for Women Insurance regarding my debit order date.

We have a clear agreement that my debit order will run on the 15th of each month. However, despite numerous written reminders from my side, they continue to deduct the premium on the 14th, a day before my salary is paid. This happens at random intervals, as if the agreed date holds no importance to them.

I work on a very tight budget, and this behaviour creates serious financial inconvenience for me. It is unacceptable that a financial institution can decide to take money from a client’s account on any date that suits them, without regard for the agreement in place.

This is their last month doing this nonsense. I am already in the process of looking for a competent insurance company that respects its clients and honours agreements.

I expect immediate corrective action to ensure that my debit order is only processed on the 15th going forward (should I remain with them) and a formal apology for the repeated inconvenience caused.

Regards, Nokuthula
