poor service

I joined First for Women early last year I have had 3 vehicles on my policy with them and not one claim. In January 2020 I called and amended regular driver details as well as the risk address on my vehicle I was advised my premium would go up and I had no issue, I also changed banking details however my debit date remained the 25th of each month, on the 25th an amount of R357.45 written FFW INS FEB CHNGE went off my account, I had funds in my account right until the 30th however no other debit went of my account. On the 5th of February an amount of R641.13 attempted going off my account however due to no funds being in the account it returned as unpaid. I was not made aware of any shortage of premium until an sms that was sent on the 19th of February, on the 28th of February I received a call from the credit shortfall division as my account was in arrears, I advised them to make a debit for all 3 months on the 3rd of March and they accepted the arrangement, I then requested to be transferred to the vehicle department in order to make arrangements on my policy, when transferred I spoke to an agent and made the same request for my march premium to be resubmitted on the 3rd of March, she agreed however she did not advise me that I was not currently covered like the previous agent did.To my knowledge I had full cover as I had seen the debit go off my account. On the 29th of February I had a car accident, I called the call centre to confirm if I have cover before the towtruck towed my vehicle away and the agent confirmed I was covered.I called again in the afternoon to lay a claim and after a long call I was told I am not covered due to 3 months of none payment and that I should have been cancelled. I advised the agent that this was incorrect as the only month I was aware of was the month of March and a resubmission was already set in place for the 3rd, he then told me to email bank statements which I did however he never returned to me Instead he sent me a generic decline letter just stating none payment as the reason for the decline. I then called again and this new agent provided me with the claims assessor Harold Jabars details, I asked to speak to him and was advised he does not work weekends, I sent an email giving full detail of what had happened, Monday came still no response or phone call, I then called again and asked to speak to Harold on Monday the 2nd however I was told he was not available and would call me after an hour. I waited and no call, I called again on the 3rd and finally got through to Harold however he was of no help to me he also sent through the exact same letter just stating none payment with no answers to the emails I had sent, I also requested recording for the calls I had made from January till date however this was not received, I then called again and told him that I no longer would like to deal with him or his manager as none of them had bothered to get back to me and I requested to speak to the disputes department, I was then contacted by Jan Wardeck he advised he would be dealing with my claim, I explained the whole story to him and how I felt it was not fair that the agent I had spoken to on the 28th of Feb had not made me aware that I was not covered for the month of February, his response was that it was the last day of the month and that it was not the agents responsibility to make me aware as I had received the sms, I explained to him that I made the call after the sms and that the sms could no longer be used as an excuse and that February ended on the 29th on the 28th so it was not the end of the month, I also asked him why the agent confirmed I was covered on the date of the accident if I was not covered. He then said he will look into my case, I sent through bank statements and requested recordings again. I contacted him once again on the 5th requesting call recordings and he gave a very rude response telling me that I need to speak to the claims division because I requested it from them not him. I am yet to receive all the recordings requested, as he says he will only send me the recordings when he is done with my dispute. I have never claimed before and when I do decide to claim this is the kind of service I am receiving. I'm a sales consultant and make use of a vehicle as part of my job, I am unable to access a courtesy car because no resolution has been made on whether my claim is being accepted or not. This is really poor service
