Poor experience - Claiming from 1st for Woman, anything but smooth!

I have been with 1st for Women for 7 years plus and have multiple vehicles with them. Unfortunately last week following an incident my car was damaged I was forced to claim from insurance to repair the vehicle. It is now six working days since the submission of my online claim to 1st for Woman and a further two follow up phone calls from me and I have yet to be contacted regarding next steps to get my car fixed. If I call I get the call center and am told I will be contacted, if I use then online app chat I get no response to my communications. Apparently I have been assigned a dedicated advisor but I'm not sure the purpose of that given the lack of response. Quite frankly the entire experience is leaving a bad taste in my mouth and as a result I will, following the settling of my claim, move my business elsewhere. I have also shared my experience with my partner who is insured with 1st for Woman who will also now be moving her business elsewhere. 1st for Woman's dealing with my claim is quite frankly shocking, if I dealt with my payments to them in a similar manner they would cancel my insurance! Perhaps a suggestion, try claim from yourself and see how you like the experience!

Good Day 1st for Woman

Following my experience review things moved quite quickly to the point I received a phone from a very nice lady who said my issue was on her desk and she would resolve any issues to get my claim finalised. I was then rang by my "dedicated" advisor Mr Tshwarelo Makgaba on Wednesday afternoon to tell me that again my claim had been finalised and that the next step would be a call from the repair shop to book in my vehicle for the repairs. This apparently would take approximately 24hrs for them to ring me. At this point I specifically asked Mr Makgaba if the repair shop was an approved Land Rover repair shop as my vehicle is still under Motorplan with Land Rover and I was told by him that yes they are.

Well today is Friday and I have had no phone call from the repair shop which of course given the delay already is further infuriating. However it has given me the time to look up Island Auto Panel in Paarden Eiland. This is the repair shop 1st for Woman want me to take my vehicle to. Their reviews are not only terrible but also concerning to say the least, as a result I have checked with land Rover and Island Auto panel is not an accredited repair center for Land Rover so my car will not be going there. I rang the call center at 1st for Woman to speak to the lady I spoke to on Wednesday morning 10 mins ago to inform them to find an approved repair center for my vehicle to be repaired at only to have to interact with what I can only assume to be an AI operator! Further irritation and no solution!!

So I am back to Hellopeter.

Come on 1st for Woman, you have a very angry customer and I want the service that I have paid for! I don't want to have to wait any longer and I certainly don't want to be **** to! Show some professionalism (except for the nice lady i spoke to) for once in this experience.

What a joke!
