Poor communication and unreasonable in assessing claims

Disappointed with 1st for Women's Pet Insurance. Communication has been poor. I have needed to prompt the consultant to respond to me- you would think it is just common courtesy but unfortunately not. I was further disappointed when they rejected my claim in haste without fully understanding the reasons or making any effort to better understand the claim and its merit. They simply sought unreasonable reasons to deny the claim. I have checked with other pet insurers if they have similar underwritings (which were never disclosed) to deny claims and I am glad to know that there are other pet insurers who are reasonable and understanding in assessing claims. Needless to say, I have requested cancellation of my policy with 1st for Women. I hope I will receive a prompt response on this request.
