Poor communication

<p>We cancelled our insurance with First for woman. After we gave one months notice, i noted that the debit for April was never deducted. I communicated this through to them, where an email from them confirmed our cover until the last day of April even though they new no debit was taken. We then had a claim for lost fishing rods and suckers. This claim was rejected due to our debit for April which was never deducted by them. Our bank confirmed that the debit was stopped by First for woman and not cancelled by us. And this letter was mailed to First for woman. I have proof from First for woman that we had cover until end April. I dont get feedback from their Management. They just stick to rejecting this claim. I dont think that this is fair. I have all the proif and evidence that they confirmed our cover and we never cancelled this debit. From start this insurance did not give great service. I want feedack at the soonest as i want to take this to the Ombudsman. How can you just reject a claim under this grounds after we had all our ducks in a row but somewhete at Ffw somebody cancelled this policy without a months notice.</p>
