Policy Cancelation

I have asked for my policy to be canceled wef 31 Jan and am convinced that in doing so and having paid a pro-rata when I joined as payment was from the 15th of the month to the 15th of the following month you owe me half a month's premium as my premium covers me from 15th of Jan to 15th of Feb. I've been told twice that you owe me nothing and if that's so that means that as I was explained that my payment on the 15th of Jan covered me for Jan which meant that I have no cover from 1st Feb to 15th Feb cause my debit order is only for 15th. Thumbs up to Santam who immediately told me they owe me money for my cancelation. First for women disgusted ? in you
