PATHETIC - stay far away from 1st for Women

Very rarely have I ever come across a business with such abysmal customer service. There are great individuals working in the company but the structure of their customer service department is broken. Save yourself money, time, misery and endless frustration and NEVER sign up with them. Firstly they can't respond EVER to an email, they actually discontinued the only email that came up when you googled 1st for Women customer service. 70% of phone calls to them end up (usually after 10+ min waits on holds to be transferred) on disconnected lines which means starting the whole call and verification process/explanation etc over again. They promise to call, they NEVER do. I have spent HOURS and HOURS trying to get a simple policy review done as they (with ZERO car accidents etc) raised my premium by R500 (!). They then did a review, confirmed the new price would be debited and of course debited the HIGHER one beginning of the month. Save yourself a lot of headaches and avoid at all costs. They even can't get the customer service survey right (no surprise there!) and although they tell you to hold on to do a survey after speaking with an agent, you hold and it never comes on. Pathetic. I'm not sure how they are not bankrupt already.
