Overinsure premiums, Poor feedback/response, Decline claims where insured was not negligent but fully overinsured already
Might give gr8 first quote, but escalated my premiums by between 25 and 35% per annum. It is a nightmare to get response on e-mail, or call back. The Tornado damage and additional losses suffered becomes a vague memory, Because we already planned relocation to another province, and our potential tenant wasn't in writing with a lease, before the tornado went through our house. SO ! Don't expect reasonable fair treatment if your property is on the market, or if you have to cancel a tenant because of a storm after he viewed and committed to renting your house. If you have relocation plans, you deserve to pay for 2 properties, because it is like the tornado didn't happen when it comes to dealing with the claim

The last log in your system was for the Internal Dispute Manager to phone me. That was weeks ago.
My premiums were loaded from R 1 800 to R 4 500 per month in 4 of 5 years time.
The building cover was over insured by over R 500 000 at the time of this tornado.
Nobody or no apology can give the time and energy I wasted on giving all the required paperwork, and additional paperwork to you guys. I suffered a R 140 000 loss. The dispute process was already followed, and I could hear from the lady giving the decline feedback that she didn't get all the facts around the claim 100%. Seems like I had to deal with 3 different people because staff resigned a few times.
Bottomline is the consumer pays huge premiums for comprehensive cover which sounds to be limited insurance with First For Women at overprice.
