Not First For Women!

So disappointed.<br> I am a young woman and find it really hard to believe that a company that prides itself in putting women first could be so unbelievably unsympathetic and careless with their customer service.<br> My iPhone screen was shattered almost 2 weeks ago; as I was paying insurance the first step I took was to call first for women.<br> The initial call took me a good 45 mins to get to the right department; little did I know that my phone insurance is considered to be at the bottom of the care list as the direct number is not even on their website- feeling like a loyal customer that clearly doesn't matter; I proceed with my claim.<br> The customer service is terrible; from connecting to the right agent to even getting reports regarding the status of my phone.<br> I called today and I was told that I have to pay an excess of R 750 for the phone that I have been paying insurance for almost 2 years- I am flabbergasted. When I initially took up the policy I was told that the only time I would be required to take the insurance would be if the phone was to get lost- I was not told that I would pay whether broken or misplaced.<br> Needless to say I am cancelling my policy.<br> Lesson learnt.
