None disclosure of actual cover amount limits when policy is purchased

I contacted 1st for women informed them that the air conditioning compressor was making a noise and needed it assessed . The service center charges 3500 for assessment and about 13500 to replace. The consultant informed me about the Limits of liability clause.........which shocked me 3000 cover for an air conditioning compressor......an assessment is 3500 the compressor is about 8000 at GW. How can the cover be even less than the replacement value or the assessment cost...how .... Here are the cover amounts from Better Drive 1-4 Limts I wish they told me the cover amounts when they told me what was covered not whenbi have a problem.....
