No Refund
<p>I cancelled my policy with First for Women and due to my past experiences, if my policy changed, most of the time I had to pay extra or the difference was refunded to me...but not this time. They claim that I'm still insured for the rest of the month therefore I will not get my money back however, I made the cancellation effective on the day I cancelled. Firstly, your processes and policies are pathetic when nothing you do is ever consistent. Secondly, as per my logic and the fact that no one told me that I am still insured for the rest of the month, I want my MONEY BACK! As per my knowledge, my policy is cancelled...I thought no one was allowed to have double insurance???</p>

Kindly be advised that all insuarnce policies run on a month to month basis and premiums are collected in advance for the month ahead. Our policy terms and conditions clearly state that 'if you cancel your policy during the course of an insured month; the premium paid for the rest of that month will not be refunded to you. Please refer to the first page in your policy book.
We however note that you have requested to speak to a manager and we have sent your request to the relevant manager who will be in contact with you shortly.
