My worst experience with 1st for Women

My saddest journey with First for Women insurance. I trusted this insurance with my car. It started on the 31st of August 2020 at around 9:00, I got an accident at the Letsitele road to Eiland. It was cloudy and drizzling. It was in the fields and the road is surrounded by farms. I fell into potholes and got three tyre punctures. I did not realise that three of the tyres had a puncture on the scene as my tyres are run flats. Only one tyre on the right back row was flat and I drove the car to the nearest safe place by the gate of one of the farms where I tried to call my insurance without success. Fortunately, some of the farm owners assisted me by phoning the nearest tyre shop in the area and took me to their house for a cup of tea. I was finally assisted at around 16:40 and got my car ready. I went with the tyre assistant to their shop “’Letsitele Trophy Tyres” to pay as he did not come with a swapping machine. It was already after hours and the shop was closed but they managed to open for me to make a transaction. I paid R3, 622.50 for the tyre. They were of great help. May God bless them abundantly for the great job they are doing to help people in need. I then drove back home and got to Tzaneen around 18:00. The following morning I took the car for alignment where I was told that there are some parts that are damaged and need to be quoted for. I asked them to quote, and took the quote to buy the parts. The dealer told me that the parts that were quoted are not for the type of model I am driving. They quoted me and ordered the parts. The car was booked in for Thursday the 3rd of September 2020 for repairs. On the said date the car was booked in and they started to work on it, only to find that the quote I was given would not cover the damage. They phoned me immediately and I was told of the new costs. I then phoned my insurance and explained the case. I was asked to send them the quotation of which I did. A week later I was phoned and asked where the car is and I was told that I must pay the storage because I was not authorised to leave it where it was as it was not driveable. They told me that they will tow the car to the panel beater. The car was fixed and when I was called to collect the car, the left front fender was not fixed. The panel beater said it was not authorised and I must take it up with my insurance. The panel beater promised to call my insurance about the same problem. The insurance said it was not part of the accident. I have emails regarding this. On my way home, I saw a yellow senor light and the following day I consulted with the panel beater again. They took the car in and checked it. They even took it for alignment. The same problem of the yellow light persisted and I wrote the letter to my insurance of complaint on the 12th of October 2020 and did not get response. I persisted phoning them until they decided not to answer my calls. I used a friend to call them and I was assisted. The second assessor was sent and assessed the car again. I followed up and the car was taken in for repairs on Monday the 14th of December 2020. I called my insurance for a courtesy car and was promised to be called by a car hire company of which they did not call. On Tuesday the 15th I called the car hire and was told that there is no requisition from my insurance and I should ask them to give me the requisition number so that they can help. I was taken from pillar to post and was promised that the car hire company will call me on Wednesday which was a holiday. I did follow up on Wednesday. I was told that the claim department of my insurance did not send them anything. On Thursday I called the assessor and threatened to put them on media if I don’t get a courtesy car by 15:00. I was then called by the panel beater at around 16:00 to collect my car.  I was unfairly treated from the beginning.  My insurance never called me despite my missed calls.  I was not awarded a courtesy car when I was in need the most.  First for Women insurance took me from pillar to post.  They **** to me by saying they have requested me a courtesy car.  It was confirmed by a car hire that a requisition was not made for me.  I am now taking medication for depression due to this whole journey of fixing a car with First for Women insurance.  I am also paying a Physiothe****** due their own making.  The tyre I bought on the day of the accident for the value of R3, 625.50 is not yet paid for and an email was sent to them in September 2020.  My instalment went up without proper consultation.
