More than 1 month of pathetic service after claiming for an accident

I was involved in a car accident on 31st March 2017. I filed my claim on the 1st of April 2017. To date I have not received my car back. I am the one who has to call them numerous times to find out the status of the repairs. My excess was hiked up from R7 900.00 to R8 118.00 for fixing old scratches. But when I went to see the car on 08 May 2017 the old scratches are still there. Two of my airbags deployed during my accident, t he drive shaft was also severely impacted, yet the vehicle is not written off. After numerous calls and e-mails I am not getting concrete feedback.
