Mislead and Breach of Contract
Good day

I trust all is in order.

Kindly be advised that Dorah Sedie ID number : *** took out a policy on the 01-04-2015. She got a minor accident and called your company to claim and she was advised that an access of R2000.00 has to be paid in as she has the accident within 2 years of joining the policy.

She has been paying a premium of R509.42 so now she has been advised that her premium will be R900.00 effective from End of October which is more than 40% increase. We went through the contract there is no where it says her premium will increase because she has made a claim.

Why should her premium increase as the market value is depreciating.

I feel this is not right from my understanding it has to be in the contract that the premium will increase if one claims, she was not advised of that when she took the policy even on your advertising your company does not say anything like that.

The policy has been active for only 7 months and already premiums are going up.

Policy Number : ***

Assistance will be highly appreciated.

Kind Regards
Mashadi Sedie on Behalf of Dorah Sedie (cc'd)
