Minor damage insurance is a nonsense

Good day, <br> I just want to warn people: never take minor damage insurance! They are just to rob you. I had a scratch on the car and wanted to repair it. The FFW pennelbeaters gave a quote R3500, while a minor damage insurance only pay upto 3000( and you still need to pay excess!). So my claim was rejected . When I took my car to other pennelbeaters they charged me R1000 for the same job. How is this possible? <br> I've cancelled this minor damage insurance, and still didn't get confirmation as promised . I'm sure FFW will take chances and continue charge me this minor damage useless insurance!!!
