Lies and incompetence from 1st for Women
I am being continuously **** to by 1st for Womens claim department. I lost my engagement ring on Thursday and was highly distressed. I immediately called and requested a claim while looking. I comp**** with their request and reported the loss to the police station on the same day and emailed the cas number to the individual claim handler Wesley and the email address for 1st for Women. I further went to the NWJ website and checked for similar rings. The ring was bought years ago, between 5 and 10 years ago by my husband who does not have the slip. I sent a photo of my ring and a similar ring which is below the value of my unspecified movables limit of R5500. Despite sending the email, the next day i received a call from someone who was not Wesley who has never called me rejecting the claim stating i did not get back to them and they cannot access the email. This is despite me sending it directly to 1ST for Women. I cannot express my disappointment fully. Being a busy attorney, i went out of my way jumping through hoops and making numerous calls for assistance proving my complaince and i am currently awaiting a call back. The lies were the worst when i am told Wesley is on a call and another person says later he left early. It is rude and it is dishonest. To hear the automated words that they care about what is important to us when we call but them not showing it, is a terrible disservice to the public. My limit is not R4000 because i negotiated when taking the policy and was happy with the terms where i pay an excess i can afford. But when it is time to implement the terms in a claim, it is disheartening, and i am told about "normally." I hope i receive a response now. Asking for call backs is pointless and i am losing so much airtime trying to receive service.
