INSURANCE COMPANY DOESN'T WANT TO PAY OUT

Hi,

I lost my new cellphone that was (so i thought) ensured with FFW on the 22nd of December. I ensured my cellphone on the 8th of December when i got it and ask for all debit orders for ensurance to be paid on the 25th of every month.

It makes no sense why the debit order was done on the 10th of December when i asked for the cellphone insurance to be done on the 25th of every month. FFW has informed me that they tried to debit again on the 15th of December but there is no way because on the bank statement there is no proof of it. Apparently you wait 15days (28th December) to try debit the order again, but FFW has said that payment was stopped by account holder through the bank. I did no such thing and FNB will back me up with saying this as well. On the 21st of December my debit order for January was successful because on the month of December all payments were done on that day. Don’t understand why FFW wouldn’t try so the debit order on the day that i advised for the money to be deducted from my account.

I've asked them to sort it out or else will get my lawyer involved.

Please help, insurance companies trying not to pay out when its a simple mistake from their side. It's the 19th of January almost a month later and I'm still having to pick up the phone wait hours to be attended and still speak to 10 different people. I've asked to speak to manager but nothing.
