Increase of excess by approx R6000???

I have been with First for Women since 2012 and have been loyal through out. Last week I received an annual increase of my premium and noticed that not only was my premium increased by R200 but my excess was increased by a whooping R6000.00 too. I called the contact centre today and asked why my excess is so high and why I was not informed of such a huge increase in my excess and on the letter sent for annual increases. The gentlemen simply told me that in order for my premium to be so low it had to be increased by R6000 - so when I asked why that was not highlighted in the letter considering it is such a huge amount- he said it was - I am quite literate and can tell you that there is no mention that Ms Selman we will increase your excess from R3960 to R9630 because of ABC. I told him it doesn't make sense and wanted an explanation which he failed to give.Anyway the gentlemen simply patronized me and I asked him to cancel my insurance since 1st for women really doesn't care - I am very disappointed in the manner in which I was treated. I always received great service from First for Women but today was the total opposite.
