How long are these invetigations meant to take?

I was involved in a rather unfortunate car accident. Being insured with First for Women, I contacted their towing service and my car was towed away. I had logged the claim and my insurer informed me that the car would be a write off. <br> <br> A Consultant was assigned to my claim. I duly comply with the investigators request whereby I provided him with the statements from myself and the passenger. He requested for a consent form be signed by me whereby he shall have access to request for my bank statements, obtaining the accident report from the police station which allowed him to go to the accident scene.<br> <br> Bearing in mind with all the information placed before the insurance company since the 16th November 2015 to date the insurance company hasn't given me an indication as to whether they processing my claim or not. I am now being summoned for an interview to finalize my claim, which he has been \finalising"for the past two weeks. The insurer has all the necessary information to process my claim I really don't know what the hold is frankly I could not care as they have had more than enough time to resolve this"
