Horrible service
I have never been so angry in my life. The appalling service that I have received from 1st for women after I have been a client since 2018 and has never claimed before.I will not encourage anyone to have any business qith them.
I was in an accident last week and the other driver was at fault.I called in to find out about the claim process as the driver was at fault and agreed that I should claim from his insurance.I call in the first time and I'm told I must first get the case number which I don't have an issue with.I call 9n after I have the case number and explain what happened and asked if I should personally log a claim with the other insurance or will they assist with doing on my behalf,Im then told no don't worry we will do it for you as these a department that deals with incidents like yours. All you have to do is log in claim on the app,put a the information on the app and the assessor will call you and you will te them what happened and they will assist with claiming from the other drivers insurance and I will not be requiredto pay anything, no excess as the other insurancewill be liable.I log a claim and it sits there from the 7th September. No one calls nothing,I then ho back to the app to find out what is happening with my claim on 12 September and only after that I get a call to say they are finalizing my claim.I explain to the lady that I am not going to pay anything as the other insurance is liable, and asked if they had logged a claim for me with the other insurance and she tells me she does not work with that and the assessor who is working on my case will assist with that as she knows nothing.later in the day I get a call from the assessor to say they have approved my claim and if I can talk on the phone Unfortunately I could not and told her I can't but she can call me later. She then asks for the other drivers information.I load the other drivers information on the app.I then latter get a call from some guy saying the panel beater will call me about the repairs of my car.Nothing is said about the excess or anything about claim being logged with the other insurance.I get a call to bring in the car on Monday to the panel beater and it's going to take 12 days to fix, which doesn't make sense why 12 days.
Today bam an email talking about excess,I respond to ask 2hat is it for as they were supposed to clIm from the other insurance. Now stories start coming in.No you have to pay the excess and only after that we will assist with excess recovery. How so because I was told a different story initial.
Hopefully they still have that recording when I called to ask because I'm going to fight this.
