Horrible Claims Process
********** experience dealing with the Claims team that is supposed to be making a recovery from the fault driver.
Following a non fault incident and having provided first for women the the full details of the fault driver, I get an email at 2 am after 2 months telling me they were unsuccessful in making a recovery and will make their last attempt in which if they fail I will basically have to make my own recovery of the excess which costs R29100.
Meanwhile, the fault driver defends they made arrangements with 1st for women.
1st for women claiming the fault driver is lying, and the fault driver being offended by this as he has been forthcoming he then sends proof of email exchanges between my insurance and himself.
Why is an insurance I am paying for not able to be transparent, maintain clear and correct communication with their customers?
I am definitely looking for a different insurer because clearly the Recoveries team is not competent enough to recover the costs that the fault driver is willing to pay.

All I need your team to do is Copy me into all your emails with the third party so that I atleast have reassurance that the required action is in fact taking place on my behalf instead of lying and saying the third party has scrammed when he has in fact been forthcoming, its just your team that's *********** and lacks urgency when there is a delay.
