HORIFFIC SERVICE - 1ST4themselves
It's Christmas time and I am stuck phoning back & forth following up. My claim was eventually not paid as the repair costs were less than the excess - fine, makes sense. But my vehicle is still at the Insurance's assessment centre. Everyone gives me a different story and nothing gets resolved. My courtesy vehicle now needs to go back tomorrow (i was initially advised i had until the 11th of jan). I dont even have my own vehicle back, which by the way, is not driveable, it needs to be towed. I was told it would be at my repairer today, now Wendy (Manager) is not sure. Repairers are closing, its christmas time, and this courtesy vehicle needs to be back tomorrow?? How am i going to have my car fixed in a matter of hours. Really??? And 1st forwomen (aka first 4 themselves) couldnt care less. Would extending the car hire by another week or 2 really set them that far back? No empathy and couldnt even care less. I have lost complete and utter faith in them and intend on letting everyone know this. (Ombudsman included)
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
We confirm that a decision has been reached and the relevant claims manager will be in contact with you via email.
We acknowledge that this is a difficult time of the year, however we cannot authorise the maximum days for car hire on a non-approved claim.
We do however hope that the suggested solution will make life a little easier over the Christmas period.
Please accept our sincere apologies for all the inconvenience caused.
Kind Regards,
