Hoping this will become a compliment
Seeing all the good reports about 1st of Women I'm hoping to experience this wonderful service. My car was broken into on the 1st of June - the door forced and the boot accessed from the inside - my camera with lenses and my laptop were ******. Fortunately the damage to the car was not huge but I am a part time photographer and all the tools of my trade were ****** leaving me having to hire equipment in the interim. I logged my claim on 3 June after going to the police on 2 June. Yasmin as very efficient and friendly at that time. I got a call from a senior consultant on the 5th with some questions. I had sent the proof of purchase on the 4th as requested. Since then getting feedback has been very difficult, I left 5 messages for Yasmin this week that have been unanswered. Yesterday she promised to call me back and never did. On the 3rd I was given an estimate turn around time of 2 to 3 days. The consultant advised he had 5 days to process his part - according to the call centre he received it on the 3rd of June. Please can someone give me some info on what is happening.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
We have in the interim escalated the matter to the relevant Claims Manager's for it to be prioritised.
There are certain administrative checks being done on the claim and the validation has taken longer than anticipated.
We assure you detailed feedback will be provided, please accept our sincere apologies for all the inconvenience caused.
Kind Regards,
