I took out insurance from first for women last year, thinking it was the best insurance as they attract customers with their promising adverts, this year I made a claim which was rejected initially as their assessment report found repairs to be less than my excess. They referred me to a repair shop that they affiliated to continue with repairs but never updated me I had to call them continuosly for an update always getting thru different consultants who said they can are able to assist me but would always transfer my call to the ' relevant departments ' with still no help until I had to take the initiative to organize with the repair shop myself, in which I was doing their job and also had to keep calling them to pay out the manufacturer for the assessment on the car which took weeks. Also just lost my warranty on the car and am very dissappointed because their mechanics that they are affiliated with are not affiliated with VW. I then wanted my repairs to be done with VW so I did not have to loose my warranty so I wanted to put in another claim because repairs would be 11000 rand but they said they would not pay out because vw repair shops are not affiliated with them.
