Frustrating third party claim from 1st for women

On the 4th of november i was involved in an accident; this lady bumped me at the drivers side and damaged my car light and bumper.the matter was reported ro the police station and to the insurance ,we therefore registered a third party claim for my car abd an assessor came in the week of the 15 of november 2019 .i got an sms saying that there were outstanding documents which i submitted and i was told that everything was ok and they are waiting for the manager to sign of the claim eversince they went quiet ,until i made a follow up with them today in the morning ,still they are waiting for the mabager to approve but i was promised that by the end of today i will get an email .I'm frustrated with the processes and why does it take that long because as far as i know once an assessor was called in it should take them 48hrs to finalize my claim.
